冬病夏治 中醫三伏貼治療過敏性鼻炎
: 臺灣每10人中約有2至3人有過敏性鼻炎的病史，尤其是在感冒之後，大人、小孩打噴嚏、流鼻水、鼻子癢等過敏性鼻炎症狀會更加明顯。嘉義大林慈濟醫院中醫部張景翔醫師呼籲民眾，過敏性鼻炎為一種慢性疾病，患者若是坐視不管任其病症發作，不但會引發氣喘，還會導致成嚴重性的鼻竇炎、中耳炎及中耳積水，千萬不可輕忽。
三伏貼是運用古人冬病夏治的「治未病」概念，而冬病夏治源一年中最熱的三天，搭配辛溫的藥材，敷貼在背部的與肺相對應的穴位上，來調整臟腑功能，增加對寒邪的抵抗力。而最近臨床研究更是發現，運用三伏貼治療連續3年，能夠減緩 80％過敏性鼻炎患者或氣喘患者的發作頻率，明顯改善患者的生活品質。
今年的三伏天在國曆7月17日(初伏)、7月27日(中伏)和8月16自於古代內經，是選擇在夏天人體陽氣最盛時來治療寒性疾病，以達到最大療效，所以在清朝發展出三伏貼。張景翔醫師強調，三伏貼是利用日(末伏)；張景翔醫師表示，只要在這段期間內，用細辛、甘遂、白芥子和延胡索等偏於溫熱的藥材，混和薑汁敷貼在背部穴位，可以防治過敏性鼻炎、哮喘、慢性支氣管炎、異位性皮膚炎、肺氣腫等秋冬容易發作的疾病。另外，由於台灣地處北回歸線，氣候炎熱，所以從7月初到八月底都適合施作三伏貼。
張景翔醫師說，三伏貼一般貼於背部的大椎穴、風門穴和肺俞穴，因為大椎穴具溫通陽氣的功能，而風門穴則可治打噴嚏、流鼻水的症狀，肺俞穴則能調補肺氣。另外也可在背部經絡做適當推拿，增加治療的效果。
張景翔醫師提醒患者，三伏貼敷貼時盡量不要激烈運動、忌冷飲，敷貼時間以2至3小時為佳，當中若出現輕微皮膚紅癢疹為正常現象，若出現水泡或皮膚過敏紅腫者則立即取下；三伏貼療法亦有其限制，對於孕婦、三歲以下幼兒、嚴重心肺疾病者、嚴重皮膚受傷者以及正值急性感冒，都不建議進行三伏貼療法。另外，過敏性鼻炎除了治療外，平日也要多注意生活環境的整潔，床單枕套定期換洗，減少接觸過敏原的機會，如此才可告別惱人的打噴嚏、流鼻水等不適症狀。
